Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Faisalabad has the mandate to organize SSC part 1 & 2 and HSSC part 1 & 2 annual and supply exams in the central districts of Punjab including Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh and Chiniot. BISE Faisalabad was established in 1988 and since then it has been providing quality education to the matric and intermediate class students of these districts. All the schools and colleges in these districts are affiliated with Faisalabad Board and every year thousands of regular and private students participate in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class exams under BISE Faisalabad.

Admissions in the schools and colleges affiliated with BISE Faisalabad starts around two months before the start of the regular classes. Regular classes for SSC start in April while September is the month when intermediate class starts. Within these couple of months, the schools and colleges complete the admission and registration process of the students and regular classes start in time.

Gujranwala Board changes the paper pattern and examination syllabus almost every year. To inform the students about these changes, the board issues model papers for the classes of SSC part 1 & 2 and HSSC part 1 & 2 almost every year. These model papers contain the latest examination syllabus and paper pattern of the board. Along with that, past papers also help the students to get good marks in the exams by knowing about the important questions. Students can take the past papers from market.

Matric and intermediate class exams are held under BISE Gujranwala according to a schedule. SSC and HSSC exams start in March and May respectively while the date sheets for both the classes are issued by the board around two months before the start of the exams. These date sheets can be viewed at the official site of the board. Along with that, the roll number slips are issued by the board about one month before the start of the exams. Through these roll no. slips, the students can know about their roll numbers, examination venue, examination time and other important details.

BISE Gujranwala issues the results of 9th/ 10th and 11th/ 12th exams after two or three months of annual exams. SSC part 1 & 2 annual exams are conducted by the board during the months of March and April while intermediate exams are held in May and June. The students can view the results at the official site of the board while the board also posts the result cards on the mentioned addresses of the students.
